DESCRIPTION
White fused alumina (WFA) is made of industrial alumina powder, which is melted in the electric arc at over 2000 degrees and then cooled, crushed, and shaped, magnetically selected to remove iron, and sieved into various particle sizes. White Fused Alumina has high purity, good self-sharpening, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and high hardness performance. It can be used to manufacture ceramics, refractory materials, etc.

White Aluminum Oxide is used in a wide variety of industries including: automotive, aircraft, medical, dental, cosmetic and flooring. Obtained from the fusion of calcined alumina in electric arc furnaces, this sharp, fast-cutting, very hard abrasive is effective in media blasting, cleaning, glass etching and surface preparation. In the cosmetics industry, microdermabrasion crystals are used for exfoliation creams and skin treatments.
Typical Applications include:
#Sandblasting - moderate hardness, high accumulation density, greater than major, toughness;
#Free grinding - free grinding in the fields of picture tube, optical glass, crystal glass and jade;
#Resin grinding tools - suitable for color, good hardness and toughness, applied to resin grinding tools;
