Professional China Corn Cob Abrasive - Sandblasting Media Grit Corn Cob Abrasive Polishing – Xinli
Professional China Corn Cob Abrasive - Sandblasting Media Grit Corn Cob Abrasive Polishing – Xinli Detail:
Corn Cob is derived from the woody portion of the corn cob. It is an all-natural, environmentally-friendly product and is a renewable biomass resource.
Corn cob grit is a free-flowing and environmentally friendly abrasive made from hard cob. When used as a tumbling media, it absorbs oils and dirt while drying parts – all without affecting their surfaces. A safe blasting media, corn cob grit is also used for delicate parts.
Corn cob is one of the more popular medias used by reloaders to polish their brass before reloading. It is tough enough to clean brass that has minor tarnishing yet soft enough not to damage the casings. If the brass being cleaned is heavily tarnished or has not been cleaned in years it would be best to use crushed walnut shell media as it is a harder, more aggressive media that will remove the heavier tarnish better than corn cob media.
Advantages of Corn Cob
1）Sub-angular
2）Biodegradable
3）Renewable
4）Non toxic
